Characteristics
A pale yellowy green or water white liquid with a
warm, fresh, spicy, camphoraceous aroma. A small tree or shrub with needle like leaves
similar to cypress. The flowers are produced in dense clusters along the stems, each
flower with fine small petals and a tight bundle of stamens. Flower color varies from
white to pink, red, pale yellow, or greenish.

Extraction
Essential oil by steam or water distillation of the leaves and twigs.
Blends Well With
Lavender, Clary Sage, Rosemary, Oakmoss, Pine, Geranium, Marjoram, and spice oils,
especially Clove and Nutmeg
Cautions
Non-toxic, non-irritant, possible sensitization in some individuals. |
